Description:General Carbide Corporation is hiring full-time General Laborers with a starting wage of $18.00-$21.00 per hour for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.Shift differentials are available for 2nd and 3rd shifts.This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to start a rewarding career in the manufacturing industry.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Weighs materials and performs basic mathematical calculations.Operates equipment including, but not limited to, granulators, Fitz mills, scales, ball mills, vacuum dryers, presses, and saws.Follows supervisor instructions and completes tasks in accordance with established guidelines.Maintains files and records and responds to inquiries related to powder preparation.Performs routine maintenance and keeps equipment and the work area clean and organized.Maintains responsibility for tools and fixtures used in the work area and performs additional duties related to the powder preparation department as needed.Requirements:Requirements:High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required Ability to understand and follow instructions provided in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule format Must be able to wear a respirator and maintain a clean-shaven face to ensure proper fit Position requires regular standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts while performing job duties.
