Summary We are looking primarily for those 16 years and older, however all are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will be reliable, skilled, and versatile. Looking to work evening and weekend hours during the spring and fall, with increased hours during summer. As a general laborer you will assist in essential upkeep tasks throughout our facility. In this position, you could responsible for a variety of activities such as painting and repairs, as well as ensuring our facilities are both orderly and functional. Being reliable and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail is essential in this job, the ideal candidate will have previous work experience and technical knowledge. You should have the manual dexterity and physical stamina necessary for this work. Duties and Responsibilities Initially the primary duties will include preparing and maintaining the grounds on the property, however they are not limited and could include: Diagnosing and troubleshooting various equipment and systems for mechanical issues and correcting them. Supporting and assisting with events by helping set up and tear down equipment and performing tasks like assisting other event staff. Maintain grounds, including upkeep, trimming, edging, mowing, collecting trash, etc. Loading, unloading, and transporting materials on the property. Cleaning and removing debris from work areas. Requirements and Qualifications Experience working with tools, including hand and commercial, outdoor power equipment. A driver’s license is preferred and needs to be maintained to be insurable. On-site transportation is provided. However, must have own reliable transportation to and from the work site. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods standing and walking. Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
