Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and versatile General Maintenance to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. Responsible for maintaining the sports complex through preventative maintenance, routine repairs, facility inspections, and daily upkeep of all operational areas. This role supports the overall functionality, safety, and cleanliness of sports courts, athletic fields, fitness centers, common spaces, lodging facilities, and recreational areas. Requires experience in facilities maintenance, along with practical knowledge of basic tools, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repair work to ensure all facilities remain in safe and fully operational condition. Key Responsibilities · Perform preventative, corrective, and routine maintenance throughout the facility. · Conduct daily and weekly inspections/walkthroughs of the sports complex and report deficiencies. · Maintain courts, fields, locker rooms, gym areas, offices, and common spaces in safe operating condition. · Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and mechanical repairs. · Operate and properly use maintenance tools and equipment safely and efficiently. · Ensure proper removal and disposal of debris, trash, and waste materials. · Perform cleaning and general upkeep tasks across the facility. · Identify and report safety hazards or maintenance concerns immediately. · Load and unload maintenance materials and supplies manually or using equipment. · Maintain organized storage areas and proper handling of maintenance materials. · Respond quickly to repair requests and emergency maintenance situations. · Support setup and breakdown for sports events and facility activities when required. · Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures. · Report incidents, accidents, or unsafe conditions to management immediately. · Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times Qualifications · High school diploma or equivalent preferred. · Minimum one (1) year of maintenance or facilities experience is preferred. · Knowledge of basic maintenance tools and equipment. · Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, painting, carpentry, and general repairs. · Ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy equipment or materials. · Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. · Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Good communication and organizational skills. · Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, or holidays. Physical Requirements · Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift for extended periods. · Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment. · Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
