You will lead with passion, ensuring the highest levels of quality, customer service, and operational efficiency. You will oversee day-to-day operations, manage the team, and foster a welcoming environment that aligns with our core values of Community, Quality, and Heritage. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Team Development: Build, coach, and motivate a team that shares our commitment to exceptional service and authentic connections. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professional development, and adherence to company values. Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring that every aspect of the coffee shop runs smoothly. This includes inventory management, scheduling, and maintaining the cleanliness and atmosphere of the space. Customer Experience: Champion a culture of outstanding service, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued. Create memorable customer experiences that reflect our commitment to community and quality. Financial Management: Monitor and manage budgets, sales targets, and operational expenses. Ensure the financial health of the shop by analyzing financial reports, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability. Product Quality: Uphold our high standards of coffee quality by ensuring that all products are carefully sourced, prepared, and served according to company guidelines. Community Engagement: Act as an ambassador for Main Ground Coffee, building relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community members. Participate in and host community events to strengthen the shop’s connection with the neighborhood. Compliance: Ensure that all staff adhere to health, safety, and food safety regulations. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and ensure that all equipment is in good working order. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Proven experience in managing a coffee shop, café, or restaurant, with a strong emphasis on customer service and operational excellence. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team. Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, payroll, and inventory.
