DEATH BY PIZZA – WEST DELRAY General Manager Death By Pizza West Delray is looking for a General Manager to lead our team. We are a high-volume Detroit-style pizza concept built on precision, speed, and exceptional hospitality. This role is responsible for owning the guest experience, developing the team, and driving the overall performance of the restaurant. Who You Are You are a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and leads from the floor. You set the standard for hospitality, accountability, and execution. You understand how to balance guest experience with operational efficiency and know how to build and develop a strong team. You will lead all Front of House operations while working closely with BOH leadership to ensure seamless service. You take ownership of the business, from team performance to financial results. Core Responsibilities (including, but not limited to): Lead and oversee all Front of House operations, including hiring, training, scheduling, and development Act as the leader of hospitality, ensuring every guest interaction meets Death By Pizza standards Build and manage schedules to align with business levels while maintaining labor cost targets Monitor and actively manage labor in real time, including stepping into operational roles when needed Serve as the primary liaison between FOH and BOH to ensure smooth, efficient service execution Maintain strong floor presence during service to support the team and enhance the guest experience Execute nightly closings and ensure accurate end-of-day reporting (sales, labor, operational notes) Oversee ordering and inventory for wine, beer, coffee, and facility goods Conduct quarterly FOH training sessions to reinforce systems, service standards, and expectations Perform regular FOH staff reviews, providing coaching, accountability, and development plans Drive guest retention by resolving issues in real time and building relationships with regulars Ensure proper execution of service timing and standards across all stations Enforce all company policies, including uniform standards, guest interaction guidelines, and grievance procedures Maintain compliance with Department of Health (DOH) standards and operational best practices What We’re Looking For Proven experience in restaurant management, preferably in a high-volume environment Strong leadership and team development skills Deep understanding of FOH operations, service flow, and labor management Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to lead from the floor while managing the bigger picture Strong organizational and operational discipline Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays Pay: From $65,000.00 per year Benefits Paid time off Work Location: In person
