Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and motivated General Manager to lead our daytime restaurant operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience while maintaining efficient and profitable business practices. Responsibilities Lead daily restaurant operations, overseeing food preparation, service flow, and staff performance to ensure smooth and efficient service during daytime hours only. Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to foster a motivated and knowledgeable team committed to excellence in hospitality. Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Oversee POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling, order processing, and sales reporting. Supervise kitchen activities including cooking, food production, and quality control to uphold high standards of taste and presentation. Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure a positive dining experience that encourages repeat business. Manage budgeting responsibilities, including cost control and revenue tracking to maximize profitability. Conduct staff interviews, training sessions, and performance evaluations to develop a skilled team capable of delivering exceptional service. Foster a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork, hospitality excellence, and continuous improvement. Requirements Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurants; casual dining or fine dining experience is highly desirable. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS for sales transactions and inventory management. Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management, staff training & development, and shift management. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally. Knowledge of inventory control processes including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction. Ability to lead by example with strong leadership qualities and effective communication skills. Experience in budgeting, food cost analysis, and financial reporting within the food industry is preferred.
