Job Summary: The SaunaSpa General Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing the full operations of the bathhouse facility. This includes leading a team with a positive attitude, creating and maintaining systems and procedures to ensure the cleanliness and organization of the bathhouse, ensuring exceptional customer service for all guests, and closely monitoring the bathhouse's budget and finances. Required Skills: Leadership and Management : A General Manager will set the tone of the bathhouse each day by modeling a friendly, supportive, and calm demeanor in interactions with staff and guests. They must also have experience managing a diverse workforce, providing constructive feedback and setting performance expectations. Exceptional organizational and managerial abilities are crucial to ensuring smooth operations and efficient resource utilization. Customer Service Excellence: Creating a superior customer experience is paramount. The General Manager must have exceptional customer service skills and the ability to consistently train and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service. They should understand the importance of building strong client relationships, addressing customer feedback and concerns, and implementing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Direct Sales Initiatives : Lead sales initiatives by promoting packages, memberships, corporate wellness, partnerships, and a team that consistently converts inquiries into booked services. Community Outreach : Lead community outreach and local partnership development to drive brand awareness, referrals, and incremental revenue. Business Acumen: The ability to make informed decisions that drive profitability and growth for the business. This includes reviewing and executing the budget, financial management, revenue generation, and cost control for the company. Strong analytical skills are required to assess financial reports, monitor key performance indicators, and develop strategies to optimize business performance. Wellness Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the wellness industry, including current trends, treatments, and best practices, is essential for success in this role. The General Manager should thoroughly understand our bathhouse services, wellness practices, and emerging industry developments to stay competitive and provide outstanding customer experiences. Knowledge of local regulations, licensing requirements, and industry standards is also essential. They should ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing operations, health, and safety practices. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication is vital as General Manager. The ability to articulate ideas clearly, listen attentively, and convey expectations to staff, clients, and vendors is essential. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to build rapport with customers and manage relationships with suppliers, partners, and external stakeholders.
