Job Description
We are currently looking for the position of General Manager at the Sure Stay by Best Western Mission Hotel.Candidates must apply in person and fill out an application at the Property located at:602 E Interstate Hwy 2, Mission, TX, 78572.Once that is done, they will be called to schedule an interview.No phone calls are allowed.Candidates must go physically to fill out an application and, if applicable, they will be called to the number in the application.Please do not call for a follow up, unless you are called by Management from the Hotel.Candidates must comply with the following protocols: Have experience in the Hotel Industry preferably, but not strictly necessary. Be proactive and engage in all the activities the Hotel involves. Be fully bilingual, English and Spanish. Mandatory hours to work are Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m.to 3:00 p.m. Available to work weekends and Holidays when needed and to cover a shift when an employee calls in. Strictly follow the chain of command being the Hotel's Supervisor and Ownership. Reliable transportation is required. Be computer literate and do all the physical paperwork required by the Hotel. Pay can only be discussed in person based on the experience of the Candidate. Background check must be passed, if hired, and personal documents must be in order and current. Great attitude and exceptional customer service is required as part of the Hospitality business. If hired, employee must be on time is critical for the performance of the Job. Immediate problem resolution is required to comply with high quality service demanded by the Corporation. At the beginning of the Job, if hired, employee must cover all shifts to get familiarized with all the shifts including night audit. Must wear uniform that is provided by the Hotel including name tag with title. A morning daily report to the Supervisor is mandatory for any type of incident that may have happened at the Hotel either the previous night or the current day and a end of day email must be sent out to the Supervisor of the activities performed during the working day. Maintaining clean the Lobby and Breakfast Area is required from the GM to keep up the proper appearance of the Hotel. Any other questions related to the Job will be discussed at the Interview.Again, no calls are accepted for any type of inquiry unless directly called from the Hotel.Pay:$10.00 - $12.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
