General Shop Hand

Overview General Shop Hand is an entry level position that reports to the Production Supervisor. A General Shop Hand is responsible for assisting the production team in completing customer orders per the direction of their supervisor. It is essential the General Shop Hand promotes a safe and efficient work environment while embracing a continuous improvement culture. Essential Duties: Aiding with general assembly in fabrication department Safely cut, grind, and drill metal or wood components using hand and power tools Assist co-workers and the department supervisor with meeting production targets Component assembly, filling customer orders, preparing shipments for LTL delivery Maintain a healthy and safe working environment Paint product components in paint booth Take on other duties as necessary to achieve company goals Ideal Candidate: Ability to read a tape measure up to 16ths Self-motivated with ability to work independently and efficiently Solid communication skills Be able to lift and carry heavy objects (50 pounds +) Other Information: Hourly - Full Time (M-F; 7am-3:30pm) Weekly pay on Thursdays Amazing benefits include: Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401K with company matching Life Insurance Paid Time Off Tuition Reimbursement
