Geriatrician

MaineHealth, the largest health system in Maine, is seeking a full-time Geriatrician to join our experienced and collaborative team at two of its campuses in Damariscotta and Boothbay Harbor. This position will primarily be based at our Damariscotta campus, providing care to long-term care residents. There is also flexibility to expand the practice outside of the nursing home, based on candidate interest, including opportunities for inpatient care at other MaineHealth facilities or primary care within other Lincoln Hospital outpatient clinics. These services include inpatient and outpatient care, community resources, and access to healthcare practitioners specifically trained in Geriatrics. Education/Training Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or equivalent. Fellowship training in Geriatrics preferred. ~ Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics or similar. Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing and privileges at designated hospital locations.
