POSITION SUMMARY Club Host – The position primary mission is to create Guest experiences through the Player’s journey, from signing up to new Arrow Club Members to supporting existing Arrow Club Member’s needs. Gift Shop Cashier - The Gift Shop Cashier will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a warm and friendly atmosphere for our Guests to enjoy. Assist the Marketing Manager in the development of a highly motivated retail department dedicated to giving exemplary Guest service. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Club Host – Must have extremely outgoing and caring personality. Understand and properly communicate the benefits and privileges of the Arrow Club Card and Casino Promotions. Enter and update Guest data into the computer. Operates equipment as required to complete job functions. Monitor promotions and awards prizes as needed and directed by Marketing Manager. Have knowledge and inform Guests of rules, policies and procedures relating to Arrow Club Programs, Promotions, and Casino specials. Available upon requests for transportation of patrons when requested Gift Shop Cashier – Responsible for all functions of the register, including opening and closing. Assisting in the setup of special sales and events. Notifies Marketing Manager of any irregularities in any processes. Ensures that all areas are stocked and straight before leaving at the end of the shift. Both Positions – Handling of money and credit cards during sale transactions. Ensuring complete customer service at the Wanaaha Casino with a positive and pleasant attitude towards Casino players. Show special recognition to frequent Guests. Adheres to all Casino policies & procedures in an ethical manner. Attend prescribed training when scheduled. All other duties as assigned by management. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or G.E.D Certification or equivalent. Must be at least 21 years of age or older. Must possess a valid Driver’s License or be able to obtain one within 30 days of employment. One (1) year of customer service experience. Six (6) months money handling experience Basic computer knowledge and experience is required. Ability to provide the following skills: Exceptional Guest Service; Great People Skills; Organizational, and Strong Verbal Communication. Must be a positive individual who will always work hard to ensure unforgettable experiences. Knowledge of adding machine, typing, read, write, and speak English. Excellent arithmetic skills. Other Requirements Must be willing to work under pressure in order to solve problems in a quick and efficient manner. Ability to perform simple tasks independently after being given specific instructions. Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters. Must be detailed oriented. An excellent appearance is required and must always be in proper uniform attire and always be friendly. Must be able to work various schedules, on an as-needed basis; as work schedules could vary and will involve day, evening, or nighttime hours during the week and/or on weekends. Must meet requirements to qualify for a Bishop Paiute Gaming License. Must pass an extensive background check. Must pass a pre-employment drug test. PHYSICAL DEMANDS To perform this job successfully, the Team Member must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The demands described here are representative of those a Team Member encounters while performing the essential functions of the job. Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift. Must be able to bend, stoop and continuously use hands. Ability to push and pull up to 25lbs pounds.
