Gifting Experience Coordinator Maui's Finest Gifts Kihei, Maui Part-Time Independent Contractor Position Overview Maui's Finest Gifts is looking for a friendly, dependable, and highly organized Gifting Experience Coordinator to assist with assembling curated gift baskets, delivering gifts across Maui, managing social media content, and supporting day-to-day studio operations.This role is primarily a customer service position.While the work includes assembling beautiful gift baskets and posting social media content, the most important quality we are looking for is someone who genuinely cares about people and takes pride in creating a positive experience for our customers.Responsibilities Assemble curated gift baskets and prepare orders for delivery or shipping Personally deliver gifts to homes, hotels, and businesses across Maui Represent the Maui's Finest Gifts brand with professionalism and warmth when interacting with customers Ensure gifts arrive in excellent condition and are beautifully presented Create and post social media content such as photos, short videos, and updates that showcase our gifts and studio activities, following creative direction provided Help maintain an organized studio workspace Maintain a clean and orderly workspace before leaving for the day Occasionally assist with candle production tasks for our sister brand Haleakala Candle Co.Who This Role Is Great For Someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and providing great customer service Someone who is organized, punctual, and dependable Someone who takes pride in presenting beautiful products Someone who enjoys being part of a small local Maui business Someone comfortable interacting with customers at homes, hotels, and businesses across the island Ideal Candidate Strong customer service mindset Organized and detail-oriented Reliable and punctual Comfortable working independently once trained Friendly and professional when interacting with customers Creative experience is welcome but not required as creative direction is provided Requirements Valid driver's license Reliable personal vehicle that is clean and presentable for delivering gifts to homes, hotels, and businesses Ability to occasionally lift up to 45 lbs Comfortable navigating deliveries across Maui Basic familiarity with Instagram or social media platforms is helpful but not required Contractors are responsible for their own vehicle expenses including fuel and insurance Schedule Work for this role typically takes place during our studio hours in Kihei, generally between 11:00 a.m.and 4:00 p.m., Tuesday through Friday or Saturday.Contractors coordinate their working days with the studio's workflow and delivery needs.Once mutually agreed upon, contractors are expected to maintain a consistent and reliable schedule so gift preparation and deliveries can run smoothly.Compensation & Invoicing Compensation for studio work starts at $20 per hour for the 60 days (probation period) and then jumps to $22 per hour.Compensation may be increased to $24 after 6 months if reliability and performance expectations are met.In addition to hourly pay, contractors receive the following delivery compensation:$9.50 per Southside order (in addition to hourly pay) $14.50 per Westside order (in addition to hourly pay) $14.50 per Central Maui order (in addition to hourly pay) $14.50 per North Shore order (in addition to hourly pay) Multiple orders in one area result in multiplied delivery compensation.This delivery compensation reflects that contractors use their own reliable and presentable personal vehicle when delivering gifts to homes, hotels, and businesses across Maui.As this is an independent contractor position, payment is processed based on submitted invoices.Contractors are asked to submit invoices within one week of completed work so payment can be processed promptly.About Maui's Finest Gifts Maui's Finest Gifts curates locally sourced gift baskets featuring products from more than 50 Maui and Hawai'i small businesses.Our gifts are delivered across Maui and shipped nationwide.We take pride in supporting local makers and creating joyful gifting experiences for our customers.Please include a short note about yourself and why this role interests you when applying.Applicants who follow this instruction will be prioritized for interviews.Pay:$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Application Question(s):Please share what kind of vehicle you plan to use to make Gift deliveries Work Location:In person.
