Carney, Sandoe & Associates (CS&A) is an educational recruitment firm that connects teachers with private and independent K-12 schools across the U.S.and abroad.Our free service matches candidates with roles that align with their skills, experience, and goals.We work closely with each educator to help them find a school where they can thrive.We are currently seeking an Upper School Glass Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year at an independent school in Los Angeles, CA.Essential Duties:Develop a comprehensive glass program spanning introductory stained glass to intermediate and advanced hot glass processes.Teach four upper school glass courses per semester, ranging from introductory to advanced levels.Serve as an advisor for students ensuring student success.Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences, and professional development sessions.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Glass, Studio Art, or related.Previous teaching experience with K-12 students.Knowledge in teaching stained glass techniques, including glass cutting, design, copper foil, and lead came.Knowledge in teaching kiln-formed glass processes such as fusing, slumping, flame work, and glass blowing.Knowledge in teaching glassblowing fundamentals and advanced techniques in a hot shop environment.Emphasize studio safety, proper tool use, kiln operation, and hot shop protocols.Compensation & Benefits (vary by school):Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid vacation and holidays Professional development opportunities Access to classroom resources Carney Sandoe does not discriminate on the basis of physical handicap, sex, race, creed, color, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national or ethnic origin in administration of its services, consulting, events, professional development, or other programs.Pay:$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Work Location:In person.
