Global Supply Chain Manager – Tooling / MRO 📍 United States (Hybrid) About the Role We’re looking for a Global Supply Chain Manager (Tooling/MRO) to lead sourcing strategy and supplier performance across our semiconductor manufacturing operations. This role will focus on precision metal tooling, MRO, capital equipment, and facilities support , driving cost, quality, and supply continuity across global sites. What You’ll Do Commodity Strategy & Global Sourcing Develop and execute sourcing strategies for: MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) Capital equipment (CapEx) Precision machining tooling Facilities support services Lead RFQs, supplier selection, and contract negotiations Optimize cost, lead time, quality, and total cost of ownership Drive supplier consolidation and risk mitigation Lead cost reduction initiatives (should-cost analysis, value engineering) Implement VMI, Kanban, and demand-driven replenishment programs Supplier Management Build and manage strategic global supplier relationships Drive performance through: KPIs and scorecards Quarterly business reviews Supplier audits and improvement plans Ensure suppliers meet quality, delivery, and capacity requirements Tooling, MRO & CapEx Support Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and facilities teams Source and manage: Industrial tooling and machining supplies MRO and spare parts Cleanroom consumables Facility maintenance services Support capital projects by sourcing equipment and automation systems aligned with timelines and budgets What Success Looks Like Cost savings and cost avoidance Improved supplier quality and on-time delivery Reduced lead times and improved supply continuity Optimized supplier base and reduced risk Strong CapEx cost and schedule performance Improved inventory and working capital efficiency What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred) 7–10+ years of experience in: Strategic sourcing or commodity management Supply chain within semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or capital equipment Experience sourcing: Precision machining tooling MRO supplies Manufacturing equipment Strong skills in: Supplier negotiations and contract management Cost analysis and total cost modeling Experience with ERP/PLM systems ( Oracle and Agile preferred ) Ability to influence cross-functional teams Willingness to travel 10–25% Compensation Minnesota pay range: $91,900 – $156,200 Final compensation is based on experience, skills, and location.
