Job Title: Government Relations Manager Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid) Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $150,000 - $210,000 (Base) Role Summary: We are seeking a Government Relations Manager to support a newly invested advanced manufacturing facility currently in the construction and renovation phase in Dallas, Texas. The facility is part of a fast-growing organization within the AI infrastructure and semiconductor supply chain ecosystem, entering a critical ramp-up period from construction through operational readiness. This role is responsible for establishing and managing direct working relationships with local government stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of construction activities, permitting, inspections, and eventual transition into manufacturing operations. Primary Responsibilities: Serve as the primary liaison with Richardson city departments and relevant DFW municipal agencies during facility construction and renovation Coordinate permitting, inspections, fire safety approvals, and construction-related regulatory requirements Ensure alignment between project timelines and local government processes Support smooth transition from construction phase to operational manufacturing readiness Anticipate and resolve potential regulatory or approval bottlenecks impacting project timeline Work closely with external agencies to ensure timely execution of required inspections and certifications Build foundational relationships with key local stakeholders including economic development, planning, fire marshal, and utilities departments Establish long-term engagement framework to support ongoing site operations Partner with internal construction, operations, legal, and EHS teams Interface with external contractors and consultants as needed Ensure compliance with all local, county, and state requirements during build-out phase. Qualifications & Experience: 8–10+ years of experience in government relations, municipal affairs, construction permitting or site operations support Strong familiarity with local government processes in Texas, preferably DFW region Experience in construction phase, greenfield/brownfield projects, or manufacturing facility setup strongly preferred Background in semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, infrastructure, or regulated industries preferred Strong coordination, stakeholder management, and execution capability.
