Position Overview:We are seeking a passionate and experienced Greenhouse Manager to oversee daily greenhouse operations for our retail floral and gift shop.This role is responsible for ensuring the health, quality, and availability of plants while supporting seasonal retail needs & merchandising.Key Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of greenhouse operations, including watering, fertilizing, and pest management Ensure optimal plant health, quality control, and readiness for retail sales Supervise, train, and schedule greenhouse staff; lead by example with hands-on support Coordinate with retail, floral design, and management teams to meet seasonal demands Maintain greenhouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards Monitor inventory levels, losses, and plant performance; recommend improvements Qualifications:Proven experience managing a greenhouse or growing operation (required) Strong knowledge of plant care, growing cycles, and greenhouse systems Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage a team Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment Ability to work weekends and extended hours during peak seasons Certified to spray chemicals (pesticide applicator license) Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in varying temperatures and standing for extended periods Why Join Us:Be part of a well-established, community-focused floral and gift business Work in a creative, hands-on environment with seasonal variety Pay:$19.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours:40.0 per week Benefits:401(k) 3% Match Employee discount Paid time off Work Location:In person.
