Duties Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain hygiene standards Assist in menu planning by suggesting innovative grilling techniques and flavor combinations Maintain cleanliness of the grill station, utensils, and work area throughout your shift Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation, making adjustments as needed for optimal taste and appearance Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and timely service Support catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of grilled items with precision and efficiency Experience Previous experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting, especially with grill or barbecue stations Strong knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards Culinary experience with an emphasis on grilling, cooking techniques, and meal preparation Familiarity with menu planning, food presentation, and fine dining standards is a plus Skills in knife handling, food preparation, and cooking methods to ensure consistent quality Experience working in dietary departments or as a dietary aide can be advantageous for understanding specialized dietary needs Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us as a Grill Cook and bring your culinary passion to life!
