Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, experienced Grill Cook to join our team! Responsibilities Prepare and cook grilled dishes to menu specifications Ensure all food is cooked to the proper temperature and presentation standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station, adhering to food safety regulations Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations Follow all safety procedures, including proper knife handling and sanitation practices Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a grill cook in a restaurant or food service environment Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Experience with menu planning and executing diverse grilled dishes Background in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus Fine dining experience or work in upscale restaurants enhances your candidacy Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of catering, food industry standards, and kitchen operations Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service excellence Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Paid training Work Location: In person
