About Ava's Downtown Market Ava's Downtown Market is a neighborhood grocery store dedicated to fresh products, quality service, and a welcoming shopping experience.We take pride in being part of the Mountain View community and are looking for reliable team members who enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Position Overview As a Grocery Associate, you will play an important role in keeping the store stocked, organized, and running smoothly while delivering excellent customer service.This role is ideal for someone proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable staying busy throughout their shift.Schedule Availability Part-time hours (16-32) Please inquire for full-time hours if interested! Must be available to work some weekends and weekdays Shifts may include opening, mid-day, and closing Flexibility is highly valued as scheduling may vary based on business needs.Key Responsibilities Provide friendly and attentive service to customers Stock shelves and maintain attractive product displays Ensure product freshness through proper rotation Maintain store cleanliness and organization Assist with merchandising and seasonal displays Support team members across departments when needed Follow food safety and store procedures Qualifications Previous grocery or retail experience preferred, but not required Strong work ethic and reliability Positive attitude with a team-first mindset Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting boxes up to 40 lbs Nice to Have Floral experience or familiarity with flower care and merchandising Experience with visual displays Customer service background Why Join Ava's?
