Red Clover Market is a local family owned health food and supplement store.We're not too big and not too small and we love what we do.We strive to provide quality foods and supplements at the most fair and reasonable prices along with the very best customer service.Shifts available:Monday 1-7pm, Wednesday 12-4pm, Friday 1-7pm, Saturday 2-6pm.Overview:The Grocery Associate assists in the successful operation of the store by accurately managing transactions with customers with cash register, providing excellent customer service, maintaining store premises neat and clean, assist in produce, grocery, bulk and vitamin departments.Stock products as needed as needed.Responsibilities:1) CASHIER a) Greet customers when entering or leaving the store, answer questions in person or over the phone, direct customers to products and resolve complaints.b) Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate, collect payments, issue receipts, refunds or change and bag items sold.c) Maintain clean and tidy checkout area.d) Maintain knowledge about products, company policies, and coupons.d) Ensure shelves are stocked and the checkout area is clean and organized.f) Cooperate with other employees to ensure a good customer experience.2) MERCHANDISING a) Maintain end-caps and other in-store displays, according to established standards for appearance, variety and ease of shopping and stocking.b) Ensure shelves/coolers/freezers are fully stocked and rotated for freshness in accordance with stocking priorities set forth by Grocery Manager.3) CUSTOMER SERVICE a) Assist customers with grocery and wellness questions in prompt friendly courteous manner.b) Report grocery and wellness department customer suggestions, comments, & complaints to the Department Manager.4) DEPARTMENT MAINTENANCE a) Maintain grocery department shelves, displays, aisles and storage areas in clean, orderly condition, meeting health department and ADA standards.b) Mark down items as needed to reduce losses, in accordance with department protocols.d) Remove trash promptly, sweep and mop retail area floors frequently.5) OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES a) Perform other tasks assigned by Shift Leader, Grocery Department Manager or General Manager.b) Assist customers in all departments, in prompt friendly courteous manner, referring them to other staff when necessary.c) Answer & route phone calls, take and route messages as needed.Requirements:Previous experience in retail vitamin/health supplement sales or knowledge of herbs, vitamins, and nutraceuticals preferred.0-1 years of retail experience Good math skills Strong communication and time management skills Customer satisfaction-oriented Maintain a clean professional appearance.Project friendly, outgoing personality.Ability to handle multiple demands.Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.Reasonable fitness level with ability to frequently alternate standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching for extended periods throughout the shift.Lift 30 pounds(cases of water) when needed.Ability to work in cold conditions (stocking freezer when needed) High school diploma or equivalent desired Readily adjusts schedule, tasks, and priorities when necessary to meet business needs.PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR DESIRED HOURS PER WEEK; DAYS OF WEEK; TIMES DURING THE DAY WITH YOUR RESUME OR COMPLETE APPLICATION IN PERSON.Job Type:Part-time Pay:From $15.00 per hour Benefits:Employee discount Flexible schedule Work Location:In person.
