OverviewJoin our dynamic retail team as a Grocery Stocker and become a vital part of creating an organized, inviting shopping environment.In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring shelves are fully stocked, products are properly displayed, and inventory is managed efficiently.Your proactive approach will help deliver an exceptional shopping experience for customers while maintaining a clean and safe store environment.This paid position offers opportunities to develop valuable skills in inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.Duties Stock shelves with packaged goods, and other grocery items, ensuring products are front-facing and well-organized Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to load, unload, and transport heavy or bulk items safely within the store or warehouse Conduct regular inventory control checks to identify stock shortages or overstock situations and communicate needs to management Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying incoming shipments, unpacking deliveries, and storing products appropriately Maintain cleanliness of the stockroom, aisles, and display areas by performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively to maximize sales potential and enhance the shopping experience Qualifications Prior warehouse or retail experience is highly desirable; familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory management and stock accuracy Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout your shift Experience operating equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), Excellent communication skills in multiple languages are advantageous; bilingual abilities are a plus Knowledge of retail math principles for accurate stock counting and sales tracking Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a busy grocery setting Job Type:Full-time Pay:$18.00 - $19.50 per hour Expected hours:40 per week Benefits:Employee discount Flexible schedule Work Location:In person.
