Grocery Team Member/ Stocker

Friends' Marketplace Plumb Corner is a locally-owned, community-centered food store in Rochester, MA.We are looking to expand our team with dynamic individuals that can contribute to a fun, collaborative customer focused environment! We are currently hiring for the position of Grocery Team Member In this role, your Job Responsibilities will include:Stocking sales floor to keep shelves full, organized, and clean (grocery, dairy, frozen, wine/beer) Receiving and unloading deliveries from various suppliers Organizing and keeping track of all back-stock to ensure it is stocked first before new deliveries Rotating all product on the shelf to eliminate risk of out of code items Checking invoices to ensure there are no discrepancies Maintaining the highest quality cleanliness standards throughout the store Providing top-tier customer service - always going out of your way to help customers! Previous customer service in a grocery setting preferred In addition you will be trained to work at the register as a cashier so you are able to assist customers when the store is busy or additional help is needed.Benefits include a 30% store discount!
