Duties Perform pet grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping with precision and care Handle animals safely and gently, utilizing proper restraint techniques to ensure their comfort during grooming procedures Assess each pet’s individual needs and communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming preferences and special requirements Maintain a clean, organized grooming station by sanitizing tools and work areas regularly Assist with pet handling, training, and basic veterinary care when needed to support overall animal health Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pet care advice Support kennel duties or pet sitting tasks as required to ensure animals are well cared for in all aspects Requirements Prior experience in pet grooming or related animal care fields such as veterinary technician or assistant roles is highly desirable Knowledge of dog training, dog handling, animal restraint, and pet grooming techniques is essential Experience with veterinary procedures or veterinary experience including animal handling is a strong plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks involved in heavy lifting during grooming or kennel duties Familiarity with animal care standards across different species including dogs and horses (equine experience is beneficial) Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and pet owner engagement Strong animal handling skills combined with patience, compassion, and attention to detail Join us to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners!
