Here is more information: This lab specializes in anatomic pathology and molecular diagnostics. They provide a comprehensive range of diagnostic services, and are looking for dedicated and passionate lab members to join their team. Also, they are a certified Great Place to Work! Responsibilities Specimen accessioning and labeling. Perform gross description and dissection of specimens received. Maintain the integrity of the specimen and patient identification. Describe gross anatomic features of routine, uncomplicated surgical specimens, ensuring that all lesions, marking and sutures are mentioned. Selects pertinent tissue samples for slide preparation, providing photographs and/or diagrams of specimen and dissection of specimen, prior to and/or after dissection, when requested and/or indicated. Perform other duties as directed. Requirements: NY state license preferred Experience preferred but will consider new grads by Jobble
