Summary CME is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Utility Locate and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing advanced technology to identify and map underground utilities, ensuring accurate and safe excavation practices. This role requires a strong understanding of utility systems, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team, under the supervision of a Licensed Engineer. Responsibilities Use electromagnetic locating equipment to identify and mark underground utilities including water, sewer, gas, electric, and communication lines. Operate GPR systems to detect and map subsurface structures, objects, and anomalies. Analyze GPR data to provide accurate reports and interpretations. Review and interpret data from utility locate and GPR systems, creating detailed maps and reports for use in planning and excavation. Conduct field surveys and inspections to verify utility locations and assess site conditions. Maintain accurate and detailed records of utility locations, GPR data, and field observations. Adhere to safety protocols and standards to ensure safe working conditions on job sites. Report any potential hazards or safety concerns.
