Job Description
Ground Systems Support Engineer Omitron is seeking a Ground Systems Support Engineer to support ground system development efforts for a Department of Defense space and satellite operations customer. In this role, you will provide systems engineering, integration, testing, and training support with a focus on developing Computer-Based Training (CBT) content, storyboards, and associated documentation. You will collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts to ensure that training materials accurately reflect the latest system specifications and align with current training methodologies. This position is located in Colorado Springs, CO. Responsibilities Provide support to Ground System development efforts, including systems engineering, integration, testing, and training. Review and evaluate requirements, architecture, interface control documents, and code documentation. Develop Computer-Based Training (CBT) content, storyboards, a Master Training Plan, and supporting documentation (e.g., meeting notes). Collaborate with SMEs to conduct analysis focused on the technical aspects of updated or new services and their implications for training design. Participate in a quality assurance process evaluating training content accuracy against the latest system specifications, including Section 508 accessibility guidelines. Support the rollout of updated training materials into a Learning Management System (LMS) and across multiple devices. Minimum Requirements: US Citizenship required. Security Clearance: Active Top Secret (TS/SCI Eligible) required. Education: Bachelor's degree required; STEM degree preferred. Significant relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or training development, preferably in a DoD, government, or military enviro
