Ground Up Commercial Construction Asst. Superintendent, Bilingual English/Spanish

Adcon Systems is looking for experienced and qualified commercial Construction Assistant Superintendents bilingual in English and Spanish to help coordinate operations and oversee subcontractors at commercial construction sites building fast food restaurants in the Houston area. As a point of contact between both subcontractors and supervisors, you will be a key person for the completion of a project. Our Construction Assistant Superintendent MUST have ground-up commercial construction experience - no exceptions! Your leadership skills and experience have earned you the ability to help direct the work of others and make quick decisions. You must be well-organized to ensure projects are successfully completed on time, within budget. Salary based upon level of experience & applicable knowledge of commercial construction. Responsibilities Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans Follow schedules and monitor performance and quality of work done by subcontractors Allocate general and daily responsibilities Supervise subcontractors and deliveries from vendors Ensure manpower and resources are adequate Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met Supervise the use of machinery and equipment Monitor expenditure and ensure job remains within budget Anticipate and prepare for possible pitfalls before they happen and resolve problems when they arise Report on progress to managers, engineers etc. Requirements and skills Bilingual in English and Spanish a must Proven experience as commercial Construction Assistant Superintendent from ground up In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints Strong work ethic a must - consistently at work & on time Excellent organizational and leadership skills Ability to communicate and report effectively and in a timely manner a must Aptitude in math Problem-solving abilities Good physical condition and stamina High school diploma or diploma in a skilled trade (electrician, carpenter etc.) Pay: $800.00 - $1,200.00 per week Work Location: In person
