Overview We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Tree Service Groundsman/Laborer to assist tree crew with tree removals, trimming, cleanup, and equipment operation. This position is essential to maintaining safe and efficient job sites and offers opportunities for advancement within the tree care industry. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, physically capable, reliable, and willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Duties Assist climbers and foremen during tree trimming and removal operations Drag brush, feed wood chippers, and perform general job site cleanup Operate chainsaws, blowers, and other equipment safely Set ropes and assist with rigging operations Maintain clean and organized work areas Help load and unload tools, logs, and equipment Follow all company safety procedures Perform basic equipment maintenance and inspections Direct traffic and maintain safe work zones when required Respond to storm cleanup and emergency work as needed Qualifications Prior tree service or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required Ability to perform physically demanding work daily Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong work ethic and positive attitude Reliable transportation and punctual attendance Valid driver's license preferred CDL is a plus Chainsaw experience preferred Willingness to learn climbing and tree care skills Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: In person
