Job Description
The Arc of Hunterdon County Position: Group Home Manager/Coordinator Department: Residential Services Salary: $24.45-$24.70 The Residential Program Coordinator is responsible for the overall daily operation of the home that they supervise. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide all aspects of management for a group home assisting adults with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including providing support to assist these individuals to achieve the life they would like, to be safe in their homes, and to be included in their community, and supervision of the staff members who work in the home; Support the planning and implementation of services for individuals; Direct the formation and maintenance of a safe environment free of harm and exploitation; Provide supervision, training, and coaching to a team of direct support professionals; Maintain and complete all records and reports as required by the State of New Jersey, The Arc of Hunterdon County, and other pertinent agencies; Participate in ISP development and evaluation; Train staff in the documentation and implementation of daily ISP data collection; Administer and document medication in accordance with DDD guidelines and monitor staff compliance with such guidelines. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED An Associate’s Degree and/or equivalent experience At least 3 years of experience in residential programs for persons with developmental disabilities is preferred At least 2 years supervisory experience is preferred A driver's license with five or fewer points and no recent DUIs Skills Candidates should be organized, detail-oriented and willing to take initiative to best support and supervise the home/program to which they are assigned Positive, supportive approach is expected Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.45 - $24.70 per hour Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Employee assistance program Flexible schedule Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Referral program Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Work Location: In person
