Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Guest Services Agent to join our team at The New London Inn.This is a hybrid position combining front desk and housekeeping duties.The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere as well as playing a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities.This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Duties Greet guests with a warm welcome and assist them with genuine care.Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Google Suite applications.Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Ability to maintain professionalism while handling multiple responsibilities.A friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with guests and team members.Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries with appropriate phone etiquette.Efficiently make reservations and take cancellations for the inn and restaurant.Utilize Google Suite for various administrative tasks.Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions Ensure the lobby area is clean and presentable at all times.Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing various areas of the inn Ensure all guest rooms and common areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained following check-out.Perform daily housekeeping service upon request.Handle laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.Follow established safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as deep cleaning or seasonal maintenance.Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns regarding cleanliness.Experience Previous experience in a front desk or housekeeping role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.Familiarity with hotel or hospitality environments is a plus.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.Join our team and contribute to creating a clean and inviting atmosphere that enhances the overall experience for our guests!
