Execute precise barbering services such as straight razor shaves, beard trims, and classic cuts. Apply eyelash extensions and nail care treatments to enhance client beauty routines. Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and ensuring a clean work environment in compliance with health regulations. Use salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently. Provide excellent customer service through active communication, personalized consultations, and upselling retail products like hair care and makeup items. Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing wait times, and supporting store management with daily operations. Mentor junior team members in hair styling techniques, sanitation practices, and customer engagement strategies to foster a collaborative team atmosphere. Requirements Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in hair styling and cutting techniques. Proficiency in salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment booking and client management. Knowledge of color theory to create vibrant highlights or subtle shades tailored to each client. Skilled in advanced services like hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and nail care treatments. Strong communication skills to understand client needs and provide professional recommendations. Demonstrated ability in retail sales and upselling to enhance the client experience while increasing store revenue. Commitment to sanitation standards and safety protocols to ensure a hygienic environment for clients and staff. Store management experience is a plus for those interested in leadership roles within the salon setting. Ability to multitask at the front desk while maintaining high-quality service delivery.
