Responsibilities Provide expert hair styling services including cuts, blowouts, styling, and special occasion looks to meet clients’ desires. Perform advanced techniques such as hair extensions application, eyelash extensions, and hair threading to enhance client satisfaction. Utilize salon software like MINDBODY for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing retail sales efficiently. Offer professional advice on color theory and hair care routines to help clients maintain their desired look at home. Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and work areas in compliance with health regulations. Assist clients with retail product recommendations and upselling related services such as makeup application or nail care for a complete beauty experience. Mentor new team members and support store management in daily operations to foster a collaborative environment. Requirements Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in hair styling and salon procedures. Proficiency in hair extensions, color theory, straight razor techniques, and nail care is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to understand client needs and provide personalized consultations. Knowledge of salon software systems like MINDBODY for appointment booking and retail management. Ability to perform sanitation practices diligently to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Experience with retail math and upselling strategies to maximize sales opportunities while prioritizing customer satisfaction.
