Duties Provide expert hair styling services including mens cuts with clippers and shears along with special occasion styles. Perform our signature service the MVP with care to enhance client satisfaction. Utilize salon software like Salon ultimate for scheduling, client records management, and retail sales tracking. Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and work areas in accordance with health regulations. Offer personalized consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable styles or treatments based on face shape, lifestyle and current trends. Engage in retail sales by upselling hair care products to meet client needs while supporting store management goals. Assist at the front desk with client check-ins, and answering inquiries to ensure a smooth salon flow. Stay current with industry trends by attending workshops on hair styling techniques, barbering skills and new product launches. Experience Proven experience as a cosmetologist or Barber with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styling techniques. Knowledge of salon software systems such as salon ultimate or similar platforms for efficient operations. Certification in Cosmetology or Barbering from an accredited institution is required; additional training if in cosmetology school is okay! Excellent communication skills to connect with clients effectively and provide exceptional customer service. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and sanitation standards.
