Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and versatile Handyman Technician to join our dynamic team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of residential and commercial properties by performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and installation tasks. Your expertise will help create safe, functional, and inviting environments for residents, tenants, and clients alike. Responsibilities Manage facilities maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, drywall repair, and general handyman duties to uphold property standards. Utilize Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Ohmmeters to diagnose issues with automated systems and electrical circuits. Supervise or assist with small projects or team members during complex repairs or installations, demonstrating leadership and supervising experience. Maintain accurate records of work performed using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Communicate effectively with clients or residents to understand needs and provide excellent customer service throughout each interaction. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or handyman roles within residential or manufacturing environments. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience and familiarity with schematics. Experience supervising or leading small teams on maintenance projects is preferred. Excellent communication skills in English to clearly document issues, instructions, and updates. Demonstrated ability to use tools such as Ohmmeters and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
