About the position Purpose:To provide residential and commercial properties with high quality hardscape installations, water features and landscaping that boast a strong attention to detail and complement existing and new landscape designs.Overall increased beatification of outdoor living spaces is our priority.Work individually and with a team Manager:Todd Lewis & Christian Sipherd Requirements:Minimum 2 years previous installation and landscaping experience and/or certification (e.g., NCMA and/or ICPI certifications) All applicants must have a valid driver's license.Applicants must be able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions.Applicants must be able to stoop, stand, crouch, balance and exhibit manual dexterity and dynamic strength with a high degree of mastery.Knowledge of operating skid steers, excavators, mowers, weed eaters etc.Applicants must have previous knowledge of the installation process of hardscapes and landscapes including but not limited to patios, walkways, steps, water features, and retaining walls.Applicants must be able to illustrate and execute proper hardscaping techniques and utilize equipment, power tools, small machinery, and hand tools to carry out full service installations and proper handling of all materials.Other necessary skills and work styles include but are not limited to the following:active listening, critical thinking, dependability, attention to detail, cooperation, spatial recognition, time management, and self-control All applicants must participate in snow and ice control for residential and commercial properties in the winter.Tasks:Paver patios, retaining walls, boulder walls, flagstone paths, water feature construction and rebuilds Manipulate various soil compositions to create strong foundations for walkways, patios, decks, and retaining walls, and garden designs.Utilize various tools to create structurally sound, durable and aesthetically beautiful hardscape designs that are built to withstand the elements and time.These installations enhance existing and/or new outdoor living spaces Apply knowledge of design principles to reinforce resilience (i.e., knowledge of proper design for drainage, grading, etc.) Technicians will work alongside pond maintenance and landscape crews and assist with seasonal duties including cleaning, deconstruction and reconstruction of pumps for water features, as needed.Pay:$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Experience:Hardscape &Landscape:2 years (Required) Ability to Commute:Crescent, IA 51526 (Required) Work Location:In person.
