Kitchen Garden Farm grows 65 acres of certified organic vegetables in Sunderland, MA, and produces specialty food products including sriracha, salsa, pickles, and dried chilies from ingredients grown on the farm.We are hiring harvest crew members to start May 18th and work full time through Thanksgiving, with the possibility of work in December as well.We are looking for highly energetic, motivated and passionate individuals who enjoy working outside and want to do the work necessary to provide our community with high quality organic vegetables.Responsibilities include harvesting, washing/packing produce, weeding and other field tasks.Previous farm experience is preferred but not required.Valid driver's license, strong attention to detail, safe handling of equipment, ability to work independently and on a team, and eagerness to learn are all essential.Must be able to lift 50 lbs.and work with speed, endurance, and good cheer.Hours are generally 7am-5pm M-F and 7am-12pm one Saturday a Month, an average of 40-50 hours per week during peak season.Part time schedules (4 days/week plus 1 Sat per month) will also be considered.Please send a paragraph about your interest in this job along with your resume.Starting wage is $17/hour plus overtime > 40 hours, plus farm lunch provided M-F and unlimited vegetables.Job Types:Full-time, Seasonal Pay:From $17.00 per hour Expected hours:35 - 50 per week Benefits:Paid sick time Application Question(s):Why are you interested in farming?
