Position: Hawaiian Bilingual Expert Type: Hourly contract Compensation: $50-$55/hr Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week Role Responsibilities Transcribe Hawaiian–English video content with high accuracy, including precise speaker timestamps. Analyze and document emotional tone, expressiveness, and speaker intent within multimedia content. Evaluate complex grammatical structures, tone, and language usage across Hawaiian and English. Define and explain conceptual meanings and cultural nuances of words and expressions. Collaborate with team members on advanced linguistic tasks and special language projects. Produce clear, consistent written documentation and verbal explanations of findings. Manage deadlines effectively while working independently in a flexible, remote environment. Requirements Fluency in both Hawaiian and English with strong cultural and linguistic awareness. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail. Proven experience in transcription, translation, or linguistic analysis, preferably with multimedia content. Strong analytical ability to interpret emotion, tone, and speaker intent. Solid understanding of Hawaiian grammar, syntax, and cultural references. Ability to clearly document and explain conceptual and contextual language elements.
