Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Chef and Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team with passion, precision, and innovation. This pivotal role combines creative menu development, exceptional kitchen management, and team leadership to deliver outstanding dining experiences. You will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, safety standards, and efficient service while fostering a positive and motivated work environment. This is a working position, 40-45hrs week. Mondays off with tue or wed off Tue-Sundays 12-9 ish Duties Lead the culinary team in preparing high-quality dishes that meet brand standards and customer expectations Develop innovative menus that reflect current food trends while maintaining consistency and profitability Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food prep, cooking, plating, and presentation Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all kitchen areas Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to foster skill development and teamwork Implement shift management strategies to optimize productivity and maintain high service standards Requirements Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in Pub dining environments Proven supervising experience leading kitchen teams in fast-paced settings Strong knowledge of food production techniques, menu planning, and food handling safety practices Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage conflicts effectively Expertise in inventory management, cost control, and kitchen workflow optimization Familiarity with restaurant management systems and food service operations Excellent communication skills to coordinate with front-of-house staff and suppliers Passion for culinary excellence combined with a commitment to hospitality standards Join us as our Head Chef and Kitchen Manager to craft memorable culinary experiences while leading a talented team.
