Head Cook

We are looking for an experienced Head Cook / Kitchen Lead to help lead the kitchen in a busy, fast-paced diner serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We are seeking someone who is confident running any shift, can maintain strong food quality and organization under pressure, and takes pride in leading by example in the kitchen. This role is ideal for a strong cook who enjoys fast-paced service, teamwork, and helping maintain a positive and efficient kitchen environment. Responsibilities Lead kitchen operations during breakfast, lunch, and dinner service Cook menu items with speed, consistency, and attention to quality Work all stations as needed Help coordinate ticket flow and kitchen timing during busy rushes Train and support kitchen staff Maintain food safety and sanitation standards Assist with prep, inventory, and kitchen organization Help create a clean, efficient, and professional kitchen environment Qualifications Previous experience as a head cook, lead cook, or strong line cook Experience working multiple stations and shifts Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a high-volume environment Breakfast experience preferred Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Leadership and communication skills Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Full-time hours Stable, year-round position Supportive team environment Opportunity for growth Schedule Morning, daytime, and evening shifts Weekend availability required Pay $18–$22 per hour depending on experience To Apply Please reply with your resume and a brief description of your kitchen experience.
