Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. In this vital role, you will oversee daily cleaning operations, manage staff, and ensure that all areas meet rigorous quality and safety standards. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient cleaning routines and high-quality service. Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and standards aligned with industry best practices. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards. Train new team members on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service expectations. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and ordering to ensure operational readiness. Foster a positive team environment through motivation, coaching, and performance feedback. Collaborate with other departments to address guest requests promptly and resolve any cleanliness or maintenance issues swiftly. Requirements Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial leadership roles within hospitality or industrial cleaning environments. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, sanitation procedures, and industrial cleaning methods. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to develop efficient workflows and manage multiple priorities effectively. Ability to lead, motivate, and train a diverse team of housekeeping staff. Familiarity with janitorial equipment, cleaning chemicals, and safety regulations related to custodial work. Exceptional attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Previous experience in hospitality settings is highly desirable; certifications in housekeeper management or related fields are a plus.
