TheWrap is looking for a dynamic, senior-level Head of Brand Sponsorships to drive partnership revenue across our rapidly expanding portfolio of live events, executive summits and experiential franchises. This is a high-impact role for a strategic seller and relationship-builder who understands how brands want to engage with Hollywood, media, technology and culture — and who knows how to turn that understanding into smart, ambitious partnerships. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable pitching a Fortune 500 CMO, collaborating with a major agency holding company, or developing integrated programs with studios, streamers and entertainment marketers. You know how to connect brands to conversation-driving journalism, influential audiences and high-level industry access — and you thrive in fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments. At TheWrap, our events aren’t just conferences. They are where executives, creators, dealmakers and cultural power players gather to shape what’s next in entertainment and media. This role will help define and monetize that ecosystem. What You’ll Do Lead sponsorship and partnership revenue strategy across TheWrap’s marquee live events and experiential business. Build and deepen relationships with Fortune 500 brands and agencies across categories including: Automotive Pharmaceutical and healthcare Technology Financial services and banking Consumer electronics Luxury and lifestyle Develop high-value integrated sponsorship programs spanning: Live events Editorial integrations Experiential activations Custom content Executive access and thought leadership opportunities Work closely with endemic entertainment and media clients including studios, streamers and major entertainment marketers. Collaborate cross-functionally with editorial, events, marketing and executive leadership teams to create premium partnership opportunities. Identify new revenue opportunities and strategic categories as TheWrap continues to grow its events and experiences business. What We’re Looking For 8–10+ years of experience in sponsorship sales, integrated marketing or partnership development. Proven success securing six+ figure sponsorship deals with major consumer-facing brands. Strong relationships across agencies, CMOs and brand marketers. Deep familiarity with the entertainment, media and streaming landscape. Experience working with endemic entertainment clients including companies such as Netflix, Sony, Paramount and other studios, platforms and media brands. A sophisticated understanding of how live events, editorial brands and experiential marketing intersect. Strong presentation, negotiation and storytelling skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate strategically while also driving day-to-day execution. Preferred Background · Ideal candidates may come from premium media and publishing companies, entertainment industry conference · businesses, experiential marketing agencies, sponsorship and integrated marketing organizations, or live events and · executive summit businesses. · Experience working across both mainstream consumer brands and entertainment industry clients is highly preferred. Compensation · Competitive base salary plus commission and performance-based bonus opportunities estimated $250k and above, no cap. Full benefits included.
