This is a builder-first role where you will ship code daily while scaling an elite engineering team. You will architect systems capable of processing terabytes of complex billing data and manage high-stakes technical decisions. Design and scale data infrastructure using Python, ClickHouse, and Airflow to support a 50x increase in data volume. The ideal candidate: Proven experience building and recruiting high-performing engineering teams as a Director or VP of Engineering. Deep expertise in data infrastructure, including large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines and columnar storage solutions. Pragmatic "builder" mindset with a preference for shipping working software over long-term planning and corporate bureaucracy.
