Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at the Courtyard at Kennedy in Titusville, Florida. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of service are provided to our guests. Assist managers in training and development of the team and conducting associate counseling sessions including verbal and written corrective action reports. Assist managers in the management of staffing levels in accordance with established budgetary goals and business volume. Inspect by walking through your assigned area to monitor staff and to monitor guest needs while staying in compliance with local health standards. Lead hourly staff in the daily performance of their duties and collaborate with manager concerning operational deficiencies and areas in need of attention. Ensure compliance with all departmental and organizational policies and procedures. Assist with management of programming for the Space Bar and other events in the hotel. Oversee catering events and assisting clients with their requests. Two-three years of Food and Beverage experience required. Experience with catering preferred. Experience in a bar/nightclub setting preferred. Superior organization and guest service skills required. Basic computer skills including word-processing, spreadsheets, and email required. Demonstrate skill in dealing with guest complaints, using active listening skills to defuse difficult and sometimes emotionally charged situations to maintain the guest’s goodwill required. High school diploma or GED required. Must be available to work all shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
