Industry Financial Services Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a Head of Fund Accounting to take on a pivotal leadership role within its private funds accounting function. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all fund accounting operations, including NAV calculations, financial reporting, capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations. This role demands a high level of expertise, with a focus on ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. The Head of Fund Accounting will also be a key partner to senior leadership, investment teams, and external stakeholders, and will drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and the scalability of systems and infrastructure. Applicants for the Head of Fund Accounting position should have a minimum of 10 years' of relevant fund accounting experience, with a strong preference for those holding a CPA or equivalent qualification. The role requires a candidate with a solid accounting foundation, the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams. Experience in managing or mentoring a team is essential, as is a deep familiarity with private fund structures and operations. The Head of Fund Accounting will also be involved in supporting new fund launches and must be adept at partnering with various internal functions such as Investor Relations, Legal, and Tax.
