Role Description SwirlX is seeking a Head of Manufacturing & Productization to help scale advanced thermal hardware from prototype to production. This role will lead manufacturing strategy, productization, supplier coordination, qualification processes, and operational execution for next-generation compact heat exchangers manufactured using advanced metal 3D printing technologies. The ideal candidate has experience commercializing high-performance thermal hardware such as compact heat exchangers, microchannel systems, PCHEs, or other advanced cooling products. Prior experience in the metal additive manufacturing / industrial 3D printing industry is strongly preferred. You will work closely with engineering teams, additive manufacturing partners, suppliers, and customers to improve manufacturability, quality, reliability, and production scalability. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, productization, or thermal hardware systems Experience with compact heat exchangers, microchannel, PCHE, or similar technologies Prior experience in the metal additive manufacturing / industrial 3D printing industry strongly preferred Strong understanding of manufacturing quality and qualification processes Experience scaling hardware from prototype to production Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, suppliers, and customers Startup, aerospace, defense, or data center cooling experience preferred What We're Looking For Strong execution and problem-solving mindset Ability to bridge R&D and scalable manufacturing Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment Passion for next-generation thermal systems and AI infrastructure cooling
