The Head of Medical Excellence and Engagement (MEE) in the Siemens Healthineers Diagnostics Medical Value and Evidence Department is the most senior leadership role responsible for medical strategy across the Diagnostics business globally. This position serves as the primary point of contact for medical strategy and value, driving clinical excellence, thought leadership, and the performance of medical teams. The MEE team works cross-functionally to define, elevate, and institutionalize the clinical value of Siemens Healthineers Diagnostics innovations. This is achieved through mature, intentional, and externally validated medical positioning across all product lifecycle stages. This role combines internal leadership with external engagement, leading a highly effective team of clinically focused staff while collaborating with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders in diagnostics. The Head of MEE will build and execute medical value propositions that accelerate innovative products to market and establish Siemens Healthineers as a leader in clinical excellence. Key Responsibilities Build and develop critical capabilities for communicating the medical value of product offerings and the relevance of supporting clinical evidence. Define, articulate, and continuously refine enterprise clinical value frameworks across strategic clinical focus areas. Drive thought leadership by delivering highly credible evidence aligned with business strategy in a clear and compelling manner. Institutionalize excellence in delivering clinical value propositions for product portfolios across diverse markets. Foster cross-functional collaboration internally and externally, providing medical expertise and guidance. Lead enterprise medical engagement through structured clinical networks and advocacy relationships. Align value propositions with internal initiatives and external stakeholder needs, identifying and validating unmet clinical needs. Define and ensure consistent, credible, and rigorous medical messaging across the Diagnostics business. Ensure medical positioning reflects validated and differentiated clinical impact across innovation and commercial initiatives. Foster integrated and coordinated medical engagement to ensure cohesive execution. Establish strategic prioritization and operational discipline within compressed timelines. Design scalable operating structures that embed clinical excellence beyond individual contributors. Required Expertise PhD (clinical focus) or MD in a clinical or scientific discipline. Strong business acumen with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Experienced team builder capable of fostering cross-functional alignment and shared ownership. Track record of leading clinically focused teams to define, articulate, and communicate true clinical value. Systems-oriented leadership mindset, building scalable capabilities that endure beyond individual initiatives. Deep understanding of medical governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Minimum 10 years of senior leadership experience in the Life Sciences industry, preferably in Medical Technology and/or In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD). Fluent in English.
