Head of Sales Development About the Company Respected manufacturer of high-quality food products Industry Food & Beverages Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Head of Sales Development to lead the strategic planning and execution of sales and marketing activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and achieving sales targets, managing pricing strategies, and overseeing sales operations. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that sales and marketing efforts align with the company's goals. The Head of Sales Development will also be tasked with staff development, training, and conducting market research to stay abreast of industry trends. Applicants for the Head of Sales Development position at the company should have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree. A background in the food service industry is essential, with at least 4-6 years' experience in sales, including supervisory roles. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and marketing, with the ability to manage budgets, supervise advertising and promotional activities, and develop product positioning and pricing strategies. Strong relationship management skills are also required, as the role involves building and maintaining relationships with industry influencers and strategic partners.
