Description Brown and Caldwell (BC) is seeking a dedicated Health and Safety (H&S) Professional to join our West Business Unit (WBU) H&S team. In this role, you will report directly to the WBU Director of Health and Safety and work closely with both the Director and team members. A critical requirement for this position is demonstrated construction management experience, as you will be responsible for supporting field teams, overseeing contractor activities, and ensuring safe execution of construction-related work. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering outstanding internal client support and effectively managing subcontractor relationships. The ideal candidate is an articulate communicator-both verbally and in writing-who brings strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to navigate construction environments while balancing multiple priorities in a dynamic setting. Success in this role requires a collaborative approach, adaptability to shifting project demands, and the ability to apply hands-on construction safety knowledge. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening our safety culture and driving continuous improvement in EHS performance across the business unit.
