Receives and ensures that all referral paperwork submitted is processed. Enters all the patient data in WinOMS, Axium, and one drive. Advise patients on insurance specific guidelines and notify them of non-covered services. Collects payments from patients for services. Completes encounter slips for billing - Secure all payment deposits - Ensures the scheduling of all follow up visits - Assists in reviewing accoL1nts receivables and clearing out reports as needed- Assists with obtaining medical clearance from outside medical doctors, track clearances assuring approval was received as needed. Communicates well with diverse populations of patients, faculty, students, and staff.-Schedule patient appointment including new, established, and referral visits to oral pathologist, speech pathologist, imaging, and any other therapy appointments. Provide doctors with any documents received that requires signature, then fax response back andscan documents.(Example of documents:FMLA, disability paperwork, speech therapy, cancer rehab, home health, etc.) - Assists with scanning all documents in patients charts especially pathology reports, hospital booking, medical clearance as needed.
