Health Insurance Billing Specialist

You will manage end-to-end medical billing processes specifically tailored to outpatient physical therapy services. Some of the duties are but not limited to: Obtain and track necessary authorizations and referrals. Code and submit clean claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payers. Follow up on unpaid/denied claims and manage appeals. Communicate clearly with patients regarding their billing statements and financial responsibilities. Verify insurance coverage, deductibles, and co-pays prior to patient visits.
